Today, while I was getting ready for Shabbos, M. came over to me and said, "Ima, you look stressed out. How can I help you?"

Did I mention he's a preteen?
He proceeded to help set the table, carry a load of things to the basement freezer, and, under supervision, bake a cake.

I had one kid like that. (Just one!) He'd see me losing it, and ask...what can I do to help you? It's the sweetest thing.
