If you look to the right on this blog, you'll see the link to Coffee and Chemo, written by the seemingly unstoppable RivkA. I stumbled on the blog about a year and a half ago, and began learning all about her journey through chronic cancer and motherhood. From her, I learned about knowing your limitations as a person and a mother, but pushing to always do as much as you can, to give to your children, your husband, society and yourself. And I got a window into the experiences of the two people in my life who are living with cancer. I learned it all from her because of her frank way of writing, and how real she was.
RivkA passed on today. I only knew her through a computer, but the loss is....
May her family and friends be comforted.

I hear you. Somehow, Cyberspace has gotten as real as Anytown, USA, or Kfar-Mashehu, Israel. Hey -- the people inside this computer thingee ARE real, after all...
I am glad RivkA caused me to meet your blog. May we continue to teach each other, and add to the light she left.
Ditto. (Sorry, I didn't realize I never responded.)
:-) No worries. I don't answer every comment. Sometimes I just smile, which doesn't transmit to the commenter, but what can ya do?
I hope that the people in your life struggling with cancer have complete recoveries, and that we can share good news.
